Stop Unwanted Calls
In Airtel: -Airtel Prepaid and Postpaid customers can send sms- START DND to 121
In Vodafone: - Vodafone prepaid and postpaid users send sms - ACT DND to 111
In Reliance: - Reliance users please use this Form (fill up the form and you are done)
In Idea: - Just call 1909 or send sms - START DND to 1909
In TATA Indicom: - TATA Indicom users please fill this Form
In TATA Docomo: - TATA Docomo users just do sms - START DND to 1909
In BSNL: - BSNL customers just do sms - START DND to 1909
wait for 7 days and after 7 days u can choose ur options or leave it as a full block
These Above listed methods are the only way to Block Unwanted Calls from any operators.
to Check DND Status
Checking dnd status is very easy, the only thing you need to do is just visit the official dnd checking website and input the mobile number you would like to check the dnd registration status and click ok.

If the number is registered is for DND service, then in the next page you will see the registration details like

The number is registered in NCPR
Activation Date is 15-01-2009 00:36
to Activate DND (Do Not Disturb) on all Network All over India
Activation of DND is very simple and it is free too. No charges will apply for sending sms or calling to register DND.
There are two ways to Activate DND/NDNC from your mobile.-
1. By send SMS
2. By Voice Call
Send SMS from your mobile as- START 0 to 1909
START 1 to 1909 to stop Banking/ Insurance / Financial products/Credit cards related SMS
START 2 to 1909 to stop Real Estate related SMS
START 3 to 1909 to stop Education related SMS
START 4 to 1909 to stop Health related SMS
START 5 to 1909 to stop Consumer goods and automobiles related SMS
START 6 to 1909 to stop Communication /Broadcasting / Entertainment /IT related SMS
START 7 to 1909 to stop Tourism and Leisure related SMS
Once you register DND, you will receive a confirmation of your request with a unique registration number by SMS within 24 hours or registration.
After sending DND activation request, it will take up to 7 days to take effective.
You can always change your preference of DND activation after expiry of 3 months from the date of activation or 3 months from the date of last change request. The service provider will confirm such request within 24 hours to you through SMS.
You can also cancel the DND activation request after expiry of 3 months from the date of registration. The service provider will confirm such request within 24 hours to you through SMS.

Oh, I find that a bit scary about DND- As the DND is an initiative taken by TRAI (Telecom Regulatory Authority of India) to prevent the customers from unsolicited calls and SMS.we are thankful to you and always feels fortunate when i visit here. DND Check
